Below you can read about the measures Maaspodium takes right now to prevent the spread of the coronavirus.
- Latest update: Monday 27 September -
Scannen voor toegang (scan for access)
Maaspodium currently uses the 'Scannen voor toegang' software (scan for access). If you are 13 years or older, you need a specific CR-code to access a performance. The QR-code is your proof that you either have been fully vaccinated for more than 14 days, that you are tested within the last 24 hours, or that you had corona before. All of these options are free of charge. Our staff will not know which of these three apply to you: they only get to see whether or not they may welcome you into the building. We regard Scannen voor toegang as a temporary solution. We will be using it at least until 1 November.
If you have a smartphone, please download the free Coronacheck-app at home and create your QR-code in the app. The app looks like this:
Please note: if you are not fully vaccinated or recently recovered from corona (registered by the ggd), make sure to book your free testing appointment at testenvoortoegang.org.
If you do not have access to a smartphone, please contact our office: 010-2002500.
In the theater
Since everyone was checked at the entrance, keeping 1,5 meter distance is not mandatory. You may were a mask if you want to, but it is not required. The M Café is opened as usual before and after the performances. You can order warm and cold drinks and snacks.
Until 24 September we keep one seat free between bookings.
From 25 September, all chairs in the theatre can be booked. This means that we will have a maximum of 205 visitors in the Blauwe Zaal and 108 visitors in the Rode Zaal.
Maaspodium follows the protocol as created by the Vereniging van Schouwburg en Concertgebouw directies (VSCD). This protocol was created with the help of several VSCD-members and with different types of theaters in mind, so that it applies to all sorts of theaters. The protocol is currently only available in Dutch.
