This is a show about awkwardness. It´s about a hard day’s work, routines, coffee and knitted woollen clothing. It´s a show steeped in tradition and nostalgia built on contemporary circus. Working with topics drawn from the North, we work with combinations of juggling, live music and aerial acrobatics. The show is blunt and to the point in a way that only Finnish humour can be, Swedishly self-aware and with a hint of Icelandic peculiarity.
Duration: 60 minutes.
The Nordic Council
Born out of the pursuit of Nordic quaintness, we joined forces while studying at Codarts Circus Arts. We’re currently based in Rotterdam, Tampere and Reykjavík, and formed our company as a means to explore the blend of our circus skills with the things that connect us culturally.
Three men from the North is part of the Circusdriedaagse. Three days of circus! Like every year, international circuscompanies take over Maaspodium with a wide variety of performances in the weekend of 15 to 17 november. Circus, dance, acrobatics and physical theater. Let the strength of the acrobats surprise you and listen to the stories of the freshly graduated circusartists.
