View the world through the eyes of a circus artist. In Circunstruction #12, three promising young circus creators showcase a preview and their very own vision of the possibilities of circus. Immerse yourself in the latest developments and share your feedback on this work in progress with young creators.

Luise Hoffmann - What I think, they think
What I think, they think – a performance about the small situations in life which, if thinking about them, turn into a whole big conflict about the world, myself, and humanity, it will become a captivating and mesmerizing static trapeze performance that explores the complex relationship between thoughts, perceptions, and reality.

Melody Nolan & Omer van Soldt - Place/Make
Place/Make is a site-based circus performance and installation which takes place behind a street window, sparking imagination of the stories to be found in any seemingly vacant space.

Simon Granit Ossoinak - The Odd Ones
The Odd Ones is a show that explores individuality, social dynamics and finding belonging through the perspective of oddness. The difficulties and the strengths, the unappealingly incomprehensible together with the amazingly unique. Three vastly different people with different ways of communicating, expressing and being must slowly navigate the social dance to understand, learn from, communicate with and perhaps even enjoy the company of people that are not like themselves. To explore this concept Simon has invited the dancers Cristian Boscheri (breaking) and Stasy Terehhova (contemporary) to join him as performers and co-creators.

Daniel Simu - Acrobot
The Acrobot is a groundbreaking circus performance that introduces a custom-built robotic acrobat flyer, redefining our understanding of human and machine collaboration through an exciting mix of juggling, acrobatics, and storytelling. I share my personal story of discovering the Acrobot while weaving a narrative that questions our connection to machines and the future of performing arts. This project is supported by V2_ Lab for the  Unstable Media.

Duration quadruple bill: 90 minutes, break included.
