IN SHORT
iRRooTTaa is a playful and musical circus performance in which two acrobats wrestle with an abundance of unpredictable ceramic balls, and celebrate how falling and letting go can open the door to new possibilities. A poetic ode to imperfection, perfect for children aged 4+ and their overstimulated parents.
A mass of white ceramic balls overwhelms two acrobatic performers.
They are far from perfect: not quite round, each slightly uneven, and always far too many. They roll with a drumming rhythm, leap in every direction, fizz unexpectedly in a mouth, or cling irreversibly to the ceiling.
iRRooTTaa is an invitation to not try to keep all the balls in the air. It is an ode to the “drop.” Because sometimes falling is full of new possibilities. Failure is allowed. The rules shift. And who knows perhaps life itself becomes much more playful when we let it slip through our fingers now and then.
With the audience all around them, two performers arrange a musical circus composition in which the balls fly at your shins.
iRRooTTaa is a stimulating auditory and visual circus performance for everyone from the age of 4+ along with their overstimulated parents.
