This year Jackie’s Hangout is pay what you can! Want to attend Double Tap Trap as well? Then purchase a Friday night ticket for July 17.
Saturday, July 18, is an evening specially for everyone aged 10 and up. On this night, we only sell pay what you can Saturday night tickets, which automatically give you access to both Jackie’s Hangout and Double Tap Trap.
Jackie’s Hangout: Game Night is a game night where connection takes centre stage. This initiative started in 2021 during the COVID-19 pandemic to address loneliness among young adults in Rotterdam and to make meeting new people more accessible through the interaction between sports, games, and culture.
On July 17 and 18, Jackie’s Hangout will once again be part of the HTGR Festival. Through a mix of games, workshops, and interactive activities, the event encourages meaningful encounters, with special attention to Rotterdam’s Afro-diasporic and creative communities.
Please note: during HTGR, Jackie’s Hangout is open to everyone aged 18 and up on Friday, and on Saturday specifically for everyone aged 10 and up.

About Jackie's Hangout
Jacqueline (Jackie) is the initiator and founder of Jackie’s Hangout. As a social-cultural entrepreneur, Jackie strives to create meaningful activities where representation, community, talent development, networking, and the presence of role models are central.
The Jackie’s Hangout crew consists of young, creative Rotterdammers who each represent different regions, perspectives, and backgrounds.
Over festival HTGR
Maas sluit het theaterseizoen zoals ieder jaar af met festival Hit The Ground Running. Inmiddels een zomerse klassieker.
Ga je vrijdag naar de voorstelling dan koop je automatisch een Friday night ticket waardoor je lekker kunt blijven hangen voor Jackie's Hangout. Double Tap Trap al gezien? Koop dan een kaartje voor alleen Jackie's Hangout.
Op zaterdag is er overdag kleuteryoga (4+) en speelt Zeg Maar Dag (4+). Zaterdagavond richten we ons op 10+'ers. Kom jij kijken naar Double Tap Trap en socializen bij Jackie's Hangout (10+)! Voor deze avond verkopen we enkel Saturday night tickets waarmee jij toegang hebt tot het hele programma.
Kom chillen en terrassen: ook als je niet naar een voorstelling gaat.
