Whether you have experience in dance, ballroom culture, performance, or no movement background at all, this space is designed to be accessible, reflective, and inclusive. No prior experience is required. Come as you are and dress as you want
MAAS PRIDE: Maas celebrates Pride and acknowledges that Pride is more than a celebration, it is a protest. Read more here about the origins of the Pride is a Protest movement, rooted in the Stonewall Riots in New York City in 1969, which marked the beginning of the modern LGBTQIA+ rights movement.

FEMININITY BEYOND GENDER
FemX is not about gender. Femininity is not exclusive to women, nor is it defined by how someone identifies. To us, femininity is an energy. A language. A way of moving, feeling, expressing, connecting, and being present in the world.
It lives in softness and strength. In vulnerability and confidence. In elegance and power. In care and sensuality.
Everyone has access to this energy in their own way. Some express it boldly, while others embody it more subtly. Neither is more or less valuable. FemX invites participants to explore femininity free from judgment, expectations, or limitations.
WHAT WE EXPLORE
- Posing
- Walking
- Touch
- Voguing
- Expression
- Presence
- Confidence
- Sensuality
- Embodiment
Whether it becomes visible through the way you walk, pose, move your hands, or take up space, we want to see femininity interpreted through your own unique lens.
QUESTIONS WE ASK
- What does femininity mean to you?
- How do you express femininity in your everyday life?
- Where does your understanding of femininity come from?
- Why do so many people conform to societal ideas of femininity?
- What happens when we define femininity on our own terms?
- Can femininity exist beyond gender?
- How does feminine energy feel in your body?
