MOUNTAIN / 2+

Mountain is a small yet incredible adventure offering breathtaking views! The performance takes shape through the collaboration between the audience and the creators. With every performance, the journey moves forward, takes a step back, or shifts to the side. Who knows where it might lead?

Dance, music, and visual art come together in one performance in which children are full participants. Watch, listen, and move. Perhaps wander around, explore, or simply relax. Breathe along with the creative process. Through Mountain, we create a sensory space centered on slowing down, imagination, and meaningful connection.

Cie sQueezz creates interdisciplinary performances, experiences and art projects, opening up spaces for encounters. The company finds inspiration for new forms of expression in the very youngest children. They experience the world in the moment and are incredibly skilled at making unexpected connections. This could be called play. By learning from them, Cie sQueezz explores new ways of understanding the world and discovering deeper meaning in things.

In addition, Cie sQueezz – Marie-Rose Mayele (BE) and Anne-Beth Schuurmans (NL) – invites other artists to engage in artistic research through VanKleinsAfAan (VKAA), an arts participation project in Brussels.
