Whether you’re saying goodbye to your preschool, your favorite pencil, that one friend you wanted to play with a little longer, your grandmother, or that familiar place you know by heart, sooner or later we all have to say goodbye. But how do you do that? And what if someone says goodbye to you?

In Zeg Maar Dag, two sailors try out all sorts of ways of leaving and staying behind. They wave, disappear, pretend to go, wave some more, hug, sing to each other, and practice staying, even when the other doesn’t. The sadness of missing and the joy of finding each other again alternate at lightning speed.

With few words and lots of music, Zeg Maar Dag gives playful, lighthearted space to big emotions for little people.
