Everyone deserves the opportunity to enjoy theater. That is why we make theater as accessible as possible for everyone and also offer performances that are accessible to people with visual impairments and to deaf and hard-of-hearing people. With special facilities such as wheelchair seat and low-stimulus theater, we ensure that no one has to miss out on the theater experience.
Wheelchair or reduced mobility
The Maaspodium is accessible to wheelchair users and people with reduced mobility. Please contact the box office to obtain tickets for the appropriate seats. In the theatre auditoriums, only the first row is located on the flat floor. The entrance to the Maaspodium is on the ground floor, as are the bar and an accessible toilet.
Do you require a seat in the front row because you have reduced mobility, or do you require a wheelchair space? These seats cannot be booked via the website, but our staff will be happy to assist you. Please contact us at kassa@maastd.nl or 010-2002509.
LOW-STIMULUS THEATER
At Maas, we do our best to make everyone feel as welcome as possible. Would you prefer a low-stimulus welcome? Please let us know in advance of your visit by emailing to kassa@maastd.nl. We will then inform you about the options available for the specific performance and notify our colleagues who will be working that day.
On the day itself, we will endeavour to ensure that you can skip the queue and be taken to a quiet place as soon as possible after arrival. Where possible, we will ensure that you can enter the auditorium earlier so that you can get used to the space and choose your seat in peace. Earplugs for adults and headphones for children are also available.
