Here I am there
What impact does the years of war in Baghdad have on your humanity? And how does that determine your relationship to the city? Director and actor Akram Assam spent three years researching these questions.
Living in two places at the same time and curious about how acquaintances and strangers dealt with this, Akram collected their stories, diaries fragments and memories. He placed them next to his experiences as a new Amsterdammer and translated them into a performance about living in two places and how the war is still inside him.
Duration: 55 minutes.
