Solo by Nas & Jim

I’m an instant star, just add water” (Benthe Janssen, 14 years).

What if you want to reach the whole world, but your own reflection gets in the way? With a selfie stick for bad grip, Solo by Nas & Jim sings the tragedy of the narcissistic man. An electropop music performance with lots of self-love, self-mockery, hard beats and an ode to the most vain songs of the current pop and rap culture.

Solo by Nas & Jim is a collaboration between Nastaran Razawi Khorasani (performer and vocalist) and Jimi Zoet (performer and sound designer). With a line-up of arrogant acts and selfish songs, this ego-tripping duo tries to communicate with each other by talking only about themselves. A casual electropopconcert about the narcissistic side of the present generation.

Solo by Nas & Jim was invited by festivals in Stuttgart, Linz and Nürnberg.
