For children, the laundry, the laundry basket and the washing machine are full of life! And also in 'WAS'; a non-verbal performance full of imagination, about the beauty and play in everyday life.

After the performance, the children can play in the theater playground full of washing machines, laundry baskets, drying racks and of course... laundry (was)!

Dieske Krijnders studied drama therapy and developed a preference for movement and improvisation theater. From 2014-2022 she performed the successful toddler and preschool theater performance Moes with Karel Casier. For this they received the Zilveren Krekel in 2017: “Moes excels by seeing the miracle in the small and everyday….” With the same subtle sense of style and atmosphere, they created WAS, with Karel taking care of the decor and direction.
