Car parking
There is usually enough parking space in the Lloydkwartier area.
In the streets around Maaspodium there is paid parking on Mondays to Saturdays, from 09:00 to 23:00, and on Sundays from 12:00 to 23:00. The parking rate is €2.56 per hour. Only license plate parking is allowed in this area. Payment can be made at the parking meter using a debit card or credit card, or through various parking apps on your mobile phone after entering your license plate number. Placing a parking ticket on the windshield is no longer necessary.
You can also use the Q-Park Schiecentrale parking garage, just a few minutes' walk from our theater. You can reserve a parking space in advance for the parking garage as well. Payments at the parking garage can be made with a debit card or credit card. The parking rate at the Q-Park Schiecentrale parking garage is €0.50 per 15 minutes (maximum daily rate of €17). The parking garage is open 24/7.
Public transport
Tram: From Rotterdam Central Station, take tramline 8 in the direction of Spangen. Exit at tram stop Pieter de Hoochweg. From there, you can already see Maaspodium and it's a few minutes walk.
Metro: Exit at metrostop Coolhaven. From here, it takes about 10 minutes to walk to Maaspodium. Cross the bridge and continue walking straight, in the direction of Westzeedijk. You will see Maaspodium at the end. Cross the traffic lights to reach it.
Waterbus/watertaxi: The waterbus and watertaxi both use the stop Müllerpier / St. Jobshaven. From this stop, it is a two-minute walk to Maaspodium.
