During the event, you are free to move between different rooms. In the foyer, drinks and food will be available. Have fun!

Balls are festive gatherings where participants compete in different performance categories, representing their house. A panel of judges evaluates how well a participant presents themselves within a given category. These categories explore themes of sexuality and gender, and the masculine and feminine expressions within them.

Voguing, an expressive form born from ballroom culture, continues to attract a growing number of young people — including those outside the LGBTQIA+ community. The popular Netflix series Pose has sparked new interest in balls in the Netherlands and is highly recommended for audiences to watch beforehand. The show highlights the importance of balls and voguing as a cultural necessity.

Balls are safe spaces where both participants and audience are encouraged to observe one another with respect and without judgment. It is essential that we maintain this vibe so that everyone feels at home and free to express themselves fully.
